How do you use Quizlet effectively?

● Turn on the audio support. ● Listen to the sound of the word. ● Flip the card to see the meaning and pinyin.● Try to imitate the pronunciation and tones

correctly.

Step 1: Go to Cards

When finish matching all the cards in 25 seconds, go to Speller.

Step 2: Go to Scatter

Option 1:Use Speller to quiz you to type the word. The pinyin prompt will help enhance the recognition skill when you type in pinyin.

Option 2:You could also select the characters provided by Quizlet.

Option 3:If you need to challenge yourself, use Chinese handwriting input system on your iPad or computer to write the words.

Step 3: Go to Speller

Level 1 Test:Question types: Matching and/or Multiple Choice. Start with Chinese.

Level 2 Test:Question types: Written. Start with English.

If you do not score more than 80%, go to Cards to put a star on the words you have missed. Repeat the process!
