QUESTION 6

Planning and Research• Blogger – we used blogger to upload all files we did on this coursework. It helped

organise our work so we go back to previous work done and use it during planning and researching.

Planning and Research• Prezi – we made different presentations using this website to present our ideas like

mind-maps, but they were still very organised, and it was easier to give examples and extent our points.

Planning and Research• Camera – we used a camera to film the TA interviews we did based on other

research we did.• SlideShare – we used this website to convert word documents and PowerPoints

into something that we could upload to our blogger.

Construction• Movie Studio Platinum – I had never used Movie Studio to edit anything before,

apart from the preliminary task and target audience interviews, so when we had used it for more detailed work I learned how to edit audio and video clips such as editing an audio to make it quieter or editing a video clip to make brighter.

Construction• Camera and Microphone – The only other time I used this type of camera was

when we were filming the preliminary and TA interviews, so I didn’t know how to set up the microphone or make the tripod stable at that point. I learnt through Jack and Callum, and working out for myself.

Construction• Photoshop – I had used Photoshop to create a basic title for the preliminary task

but other than that I had never used it before. I learnt how to create layers and hide backgrounds, and how to move text to where we wanted it to be.

Construction• YouTube – I had uploaded to YouTube before but I didn’t know how to add

thumbnails, tags and descriptions.

Evaluation• PowToon – this website is similar to PowerPoint in the way it is laid out but it can

include animations. It can look professional or personal and has a wide range of ways that it can look/ be used.

Evaluation• There aren’t many things I learnt during the evaluation process because I had learnt

how to use Blogger, SlideShare, and Prezi during planning and research; and I already knew how to use PowerPoint and Word before we started the coursework.
