ants

we can learn an important lesson about success from an insect that has survived for millions of years and has kept life simple, but highly effective - Ants.

If you want to pursue a successful life, then this proven philosophy should be adopted. It is a four-part strategy and it goes something like this:

They never quit - if an ant is headed in one direction, no matter what you do to stop them, they find another way to continue in that direction. They’ll go around, climb over, climb under - they just keep looking for another way. What a great philosophy to have - never quit heading in the direction you have chosen regardless of the obstacles.

They think Winter all Summer - great perspective to have. How naive to think that Summer will last forever. So ants gather their Winter supplies in the middle of Summer.

They think Summer all Winter - another very important process. The Ant believes the current Winter won’t last long; we’ll soon be out of here. And the first warm day - out they go. If it gets cold, back in they go. But as soon as it gets warm again, out they go. They just can’t wait to get out.

They do all they possibly can - to collect as much food as they can in Summer in preparation for the Winter. What a great philosophy to have, the ‘All-You-Possibly-Can’ thinking.

So perhaps, simply by following in the Ant’s footsteps, we can bring about success...

Never give up - look ahead - stay positive and do all you can to build a great future
