Only 33 public toilets in Kathmandu valley .

About 90% of toilets are cleaned 3 times a day.

About 18% toilets do not have water supply & only 45% of them provide soap.

Lack of women friendly rest rooms.

Nepal Government is planning to install portable toilets on mount Everest.

Installing public toilets on Everest can become a wider waste management plan.

Eco Everest Expedition, a Nepal-based coalition of environmentalists campaigning to keep the mountain clean, has collected more than 10 tons of rubbish, 400 kilos of human waste and four bodies since 2008.

profit in maintaining public toilets. Public toilet fares should be minimum.

Proper education to people for encouraging the use of public toilets and eradicating bad habits.
