RESOURCES
• Decrease student costs.
• Can help aide student learning by having various methods of delivery of content.
• Allows faculty to develop learning activities that are “outside of the box.”
• Showcase to a large population of instructors and facilitates peer-to-peer feedback.
• Promotes college, program, and course.
CHALLENGES TO USING OPEN
EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
• Faculty adoption of resources.
• Lack of resources available for some topics (i.e.
Simulation).
• Initial increase in faculty workload when searching for
resources may decrease likelihood of faculty to use
those resources.
• Upkeep of resources to ensure quality.
• Credibility of resources
