• Lives in the upper Peninsula of Michigan• Graduated from Northern Michigan University
with a BFA in Graphic Communications• Besides photography, I enjoy fishing, hiking,
camping and many other outdoor ventures• Happily married and a dad to a toddler son
and a one-year-old daughter

• You need to know how to use a camera and need to have a flexible schedule and need to be creative.
• The job outlook is about 4%.• The entry-level pay scale is between $16,920 -
$29,440.• You need either a bachelors degree or masters
degree.• Your daily schedule is meeting clients, taking
photos, developing, or editing photos.
Homage
• I chose him because I love his pictures.• I want to move to Michigan and he lives there
and takes a lot of his photos there.• I think that even though he is not a full time
photographer he is AMAZING.
Interview Prep• Why do you want to be a photographer?
I want to be a photographer because I love being creative and if I have a career I want to love what I do.
• Explain to us what you know and why you are interested in this specific type of photography? I know how to use Adobe Photoshop and I know you need to be
prepared and knowledgeable of the weather because its nature and you will be outside.
• What makes you stand out as a photographer among your peers? I take it very seriously even though I like to be adventurous with taking
photos.• What important trends do you see in the photographic industry?
I'm not sure.

One of my weaknesses would probably be I dontn• How important is technology in your field? How do you plan to implement
it? Technology is very important, without technology you wouldn’t even be able to
take pictures. I will learn how to use my cameras advanced settings to become more developed in my work.
• What are your long-range goals? To have my own photography company and be able to travel and see amazing
landscapes.• How successful have you been so far?
