presentation? Your objective should be clear in your mind
•Audience : Who am I making this presentation to ? How many people?
Who are they?
Venue : Where am I making this presentation ? Facilities and equipment?
Time and length : When am I making this presentation and how long will it be?
Method : How should I make this presentation ? Formal or informal ?
Content : What should I say ? Include only relevant information.
StructureMost presentation are organized in three
parts, followed by question:Introduction :welcome your audience,
introduce your subject, explain the structure of presentation.
Body of presentation : present the subject itself
Conclusion : summaries your presentation , thank you audience, invite questions.
NOTESTry to appears as spontaneous as possible.
Do not read your presentation. Use notes to remember everything you need to say. Some people makes on small. some people write down just the little of each section of their talk .some people write down keywords to remind them.
REHEAESALPractice your presentation two or three times
so that you:Become more familiar with what you want to
sayIdentify weaknesses in your presentationCan practice difficult pronunciationCan check the time that your presentation
takes and makes any necessary modification.
DELIVERYNerves : most speakers are a little nervous at the
beginning of a presentation. Pay special attention to the beginning of your presentation. Try to speak slowly and calmly. after a few moment ,you will relax and gain confidence.
Audience Rapport : you need to build a warm and friendly relationship with your audience.
Body language : what you need to communicate is a feeling of confidence and relaxation. Your body can help you to do this. The clothes you wear , the way you stand or walk, your facial expressions, your hand and warm movements- these are the language of your body, your body language
So look on body language as a positive, powerful tool to help you in your mission.
First of all, your appearance (clothes, hair,etc)it is essential that your dress appropriately and have well – groomed hair. Your audience will be distracted if your clothes are sloppy or flashy
Smile, when you enter, or as you are being introduced, smile warmly. Not too much!
