First Trip: RomaniaThe first trip has been to Romania, in

November 2013.

Romania is situated in

Central Europe, bordering

Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine, Moldova

and Bulgaria.

Romania has a population of over

19 million inhabitants, the

capital of Romania is Bucharest.

In 1989 revolution broke out in Timisoara the protests reached higher magnitudes,

these protests put an end to the regime of Nicolae Ceauşescu.

The main river of Romania is the Danube, which

forms the border with Bulgaria,

Serbia ... and is used for transport and hydropower

generation.

Romania is a state

with no official

religion but more

than 89% of the

population

subscribes to the

Romanian

Orthodox Church.

Romanian is the official language of the country. Next in

importance Hungarian and

Romani, spoken by Romanian Gypsies.

On the first day, we visited Budapest.

We visited the city for a few hours

Then we met our partners and we got on the bus to travel to our

destination in Romania: Cîmpani

When we arrived, the Romanian

families had prepared a welcome dinner.

On the second day, we went to school, where the members presented their

countries

Then the Romanian students danced and they did a theater play.

After that we chose the best logo and poster for our project.

In the afternon we chose the best poster and logo, and then each student went home with

his or her Romanian host

On the third day, we spent all day visiting Timisoara, a beautiful and historical city. We ate at a restaurant and we returned to

Cîmpani.

Then we went for a tour of

the city

On the fourth day, we visited

the Bears' caves

And in the evening we enjoyed a farewell dinner

Finally, on the fifth day, at 2 am we took the bus to Budapest. In Budapest we got on a boat on the river Danube.

We enjoyed the trip to Romania because we've met people from other countries.
