The period of time that began with the appearance of living beings and ended with the invention of writing

Prehistory is divided into 3 stages

Paleolithic

It began with the appearance of living beings - They were nomads. - They lived in small groups. -They hunted, fished and gathered plants

They carved stones and learned to control fire

neolithicneolithic

It started 10,000 years ago and they began to domesticate animals, emerged agriculture and livestock, became sedentary and began to build settlements. They learned to work with clay and ceramics and they built monuments menhirs and dolmens.

Metal AgeIt was started 6,000 years ago. They learned to work with: metals, bronze, iron, gold, copper and silver

Major developments occurred: The wheel-facilitated transport to furrow plow, sailing navigation and barter trade.
