Poultry Management ! Shed Preparation. L X B (25-30Ft), East & west Wall, North

& South net. It should be away from locality(Biosecurity). Restrict the visitors. Chicks & feed from reputed companies. Proper cleaning of feeder, drinker, shed.

Before arrival of chicks

Proper cleaning ! Spray of insecticides (Malthion). Dry cleaning (sweeping, dusting). Wet Cleaning with washing (Caustic Soda). Pipeline cleaning with Germex 50ml/lt(8hrs) Burning & fumigation. Spray of disinfections with all commodities in

shed.

At the time of chicks arrival

Chicks should be welcomed with Electolyte Plus & probiotic water for 2 hrs for next 3 days.

Than with Amiplex (B.comp) & Vetitone (AD3EC) tonics for next 5days.

2,3,4 d Antibiotics along with other Vitamins. Water acidifer & sanitizer should be continous. Followed RD vac on 5-7th d; IBD vac on 12-14th d; RD

booster on 21st d. AD3EC should be given pre & post vaccination. Spray disinfection twice weekly.

Yolk Sac infection !

Greenish pale yellow yolk with foul smell. 1-5 days treatment with Antibiotics like Levofloxacin, Ciprofloxacin or Enrofloxacin. Proper temp in shed. Proper water sanitization.

Colibacillosis.Treatment:

•Pipeline cleaning.

•Water sanitization.

•Antibiotic- Colistin Sulphate

Brooder Pneumonia,Fungal Infestation Brooder Pneumonia it mainly occur in chicks

due to wet litter/wet husk. Copper Sulphate @ 0.5gm/lt in drinking water

& spray both. Proper Ventilation of sheds. Fungal infestation occurs in all age group its

mainly due toxic feed ingredients. Liver tonic @ 20ml/100B,

Toxin binder-1kg/Ton in feed.

1 Day IB Vac (IBH120)-Beak Dipping, Provide more water to birds. Feed restrict & administer grinded maize. KCL@ 0.5gm/lt, Liver tonic with diuretics @ 15ml/100B. Cital-10ml @ 1000 B, 24Hrs, 3 days course.
