LEARNING THROUGH PLAYING Project progress

March – September

2011

MY IDEA Starting a day care based on learning through playing method.

IN PALESTINE Some obstacles we are facing the project, in brief

1- to issue a license you have to rent the place first.

2- hiring teachers

3- completing all the arrangements which require large amount of money that I don’t have.

CHANGE THE PLAN Instead of securing the place and bring people in, I decided to go to the people and spread the learning through playing to as many people as I could through conducting training for teachers and care cavers.

THE OUTCOME OF THE CHANGE •More people can benefit form the training which will help them to improve their life •Less cost •I manage my time •I can find the donor to fund the project

WHEN AND WHERE As a starting point the training will be conducted in three villages to the south of Ramallah These villages are:

WHAT IS THE COMMON BETWEEN THESE VILLAGES

•Location: to the north of Ramallah •Working capacity for women : manily working at schools.• no kindergartens or less than 2 • suffering from geographic isolation, because of Israeli closer and surrounding with colonies.• lack of experience on enhancement for educational issues concerning the kgs and development for new tools.

WHAT HAS BEEN DONE SO FAR First draft of the proposal is ready, but needs more development.

Contact with different NOGs who might fund the project.
