This includes information from web pages, books, songs, television shows, email messages, interviews, articles, artworks or any other medium. Whenever you paraphrase, summarize, or take words, phrases, or sentences from another person's work

Is when you take an idea from other person and make it work for their own convenience. It is ilegal when the subject has copyright.

WHY IS IT WRONG?

You are stilling other people ideas and/or creativity, and take the credits for it.

You are not being original.

TIPS FOR AVOIDING PLAGIARISM

• always taking the data from the source

• Identify words that you copy directly

• Keep a research log

• Keep a working bibliography

• You must cite direct quotes.
