JAM TOUCH
JAM TOUCHThe product that we are planning on producing are wireless speakers. We will be working using the video format from premier pro too edit the footage we are using.Our main message that we are trying too get across is the pleasure and fun experience of listening to higher quality sound in their place of comfort.
STORYBOARD
USPThe USP of our product is that it doesn’t require your phone
too be on the same floor level of the speaker, which gives you more freedom too roam with the speaker.
As you increase the volume of the speaker it still remains clear and doesn’t start too crackle. It also has an average span of 5-6 hours battery life which can be recharge quickly and effectively.
Speakerphone allows you too swap from good sound quality music too to good quality phone calls effortlessly.
PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS The production can filmed either inside or outside but we will film
outside to save me buying artificial light therefore reducing the cost.Acquiring a camera is the first thing that I will need and getting the
tripod as well so we don't have too carry the camera too much while we're filming. Also a microphone would be very useful for picking up clearer sound and I'll use headphones while recording too be able to make sure that the sound itself is clear enough.
We may not really acquire any actors in the actual production of the adverts because our idea focuses on the surroundings.
This should take between 3-5 days filming time whilst editing of the footage will take4-7 days.
BROADCASTINGThe advert should be broadcast between 5:30pm and 8:00pm
because this is a early peak period when people are watching TV. Sky 1 tend too be showing the most popular shows at that time and also that’s where most of our target audience watch.
We will really be looking too sponsor TV programs during the peak period as well especially the high quality TV shows.
DESIGNThe JAM Touch is a breeze to
control — twist the body to adjust the volume, and gently tap the top to skip tracks. In addition to a tactile, fun experience, the Touch boasts strong, clear sound. Though it’s just the size of a baseball, it is still able to fill up the room with volume.
TARGET AUDIENCEMy target audience that would find this the most appealing will
be kids at 10-17 years old and adults from 17+. The reason is because of how active young people are and my product aims to provide pleasure for them whilst they are still active. Adults tend to have more static activities but it still requires some pleasure and fun. Even daily routines needs little spice and that’s why my product can bring that to the table.
TARGET AUDIENCE (CONT.)The main purpose of this product is too give good sound
quality whilst being able to carry it around with you. Our audience will be mostly concerned not only sound quality and the design that comes with it. I feel that our speaker meets all of that criteria with its jam-like appearance that gives it a unique design and its excellent test proven sound quality.
COSTI can get most of the equipment from Pc world and this comes
too £172.95 in total. The headphones I can personally provide myself and this therefore reduces any additional cost. Also by using natural lights this reduces unnecessary costs from getting artificial lights.
CONTINGENCY PLANOur back up plan if we ran into problems such as weather,
would too either take production inside or postpone it to another day however our storyboard shows we can do the filming inside or outside.
If any of us were to fall ill during production, our time span it will not really cause us any major problems because filming can also be carried out by a single person too.
