Pirates of the Caribbean (Curse of Black Pearl) It was a theme park attraction before it got into the world of films. There were many references from different movies as follow: 1. The shot where Jack Sparrow is standing onto of the mast whiles his boat was sinking was references to Buster Keaton at the end of The Navigator. 2. An artist named Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones inspires most Jack Sparrow’s characters. (Characteristics like Bugs Bunny). This is shown when Jack tricks the 2 soldiers and went aboard the Interceptor. 3. “And then they made me there chief…” it’s a catch phrase from the variety show in UK called the fast Show. 4. The cannon shot fired at Port Charles has the shape of a mickeys head.
