Vulnerable Youth- A Generation At RiskCurrent Landscape

The future legacy of our nation is currently “at risk”. Here are some statistics:

The high school dropout rate of the top 50 cities in our nation is at 51.2%!

The average high school graduate student today, without any further training or education, will experience a 42% employment rate over the age of 25! That’s 58% unemployment experience over the course of their lives.

Behavior lost time in schools today accounts for over 70% of the suspension occurrences. Ignoring school policy rules is the top contributor!

In Connecticut alone, the lost time in 2005 was equivalent to 2080 students missing an entire school year!

How You Can Help!

Community Action Program

Become a Community Action Leader: “champion change in your community”

• Lifefaqs Foundation wants to work with community leaders who “see the need and are willing to fill the need”. Community Champions, who recognize that change requires action, and that leadership makes it happen. Not cheer leaders, but “share” leaders. Stakeholders in our next generation.

• Men and women; businesses and organizations who have a passion to share a new vision and legs of support. You can be a collaborative partner within your community to support change in a “generation at risk”.

• For more information… www.abcoflife.net or www.lifefaqs.org and we will tell you how you can champion change in your community.

Lifefaqs Foundation – a 501c3 organization founded in 2001, and their Education Partners ABC’s of Life are committed to making a difference ‘community by community”. It requires partners who are like minded and like spirited! Our mission is to come along side community leaders who want their legacy to impact their community for the better. If you want to be a “difference –maker”, we want to work with you!
