This film is a 1958 American Adventure film directed by John Sturges.

Life Of Pi :

Novel writen by Yann Martel Canadian fantancy Adventue novel in 2001.

Film Adapation in 2012 directed by Ang Lee.

Santiago cuban fisher man started journey on the as he battles a Marlin.

Old man in the film is a cuban fisherman who has gone sea 84 day without catch and on 85th day out he finally hooks a huge fish marline.

As well as ,Pi servives 227 days after a shipwreck while stranded on life with Bengal tiger.

For three days and night he battels the fish , which is portrayed in the film as a trial of mental and physical courage that become a ultimate test for him of his worth as a man.

Pi stranded for numerousdays where he is faced many struggles to stay alive.

Santiago purpose of the journey is marlin , where Pi purpose of the journey migration.

There's christian fundamentalism in the film adaptation of The old man and The sea where in the Life of Pi , the hero belives in the universal religion of humanity .

In the both film uses the flashback technique: Santiago remember his old good

days of victory during his dark time. Pi rememberes his good days

spent with family during the time of disappoinment sea torments.

Effective symbolism of skelleton is used in both the films. Santiago gets the dead end of marlin, and Pi arrives on the island of Skelleton and poisonus water.

At the end both heros are loosers. Santiago loses marlin's flash where Pi loses his friend The Tiger. He makes him free in the jungle.

Religious symbolism is used in The Old Man and The Sea – Santiago at the end falls on the bed with the skeleton of Marlin in a christ like position, and after sea torments Pi is on the sea shore and tigher is going to it's habitat.
