Introduction
Hello to the watchers of this PowerPoint presentation, it is intended for the audience that never ever read the famous Shakespearian play Macbeth.
The presentation will have the important events and the important story outline in each of the scenes in Macbeth.

Character outline
The most important characters in the story are the following below:
Macbeth Lady Macbeth Three witches Banquo Malcolm Macduff
Macbeth Protagonist of the entire play. Started out with the title of Thane of
Glamis to Thane of Cawdor to King of Scotland.
Extremely ambitious and careful in his actions
Play focuses on his different mindsets as the play progresses
A person that is extremely obsessed with the idea of Destiny and Fate.
Lady Macbeth
Macbeth’s wife Initially one of the play’s antagonist at the
beginning of the play. Believed that Macbeth was destined to be king. Was usually the person behind the scenes that
pushed Macbeth into performing bad deeds. Eventually got caught up with the bad deeds
that she and her husband performed.
Three Witches The antagonists behind the scene Provided Macbeth with the visions of the
future. They were often the reasons that provided
evil thoughts to Macbeth which clouded his judgment.
Worked with the evil witch goddess Hecate.
Popped up in the play from time to time.
Banquo Was once Macbeth’s trusted friend Has a son by the name of Fleance Soon got suspected by Macbeth due to the
vision that the witches gave him that his sons will be king.
Was ordered to be assassinated by Macbeth when he hired 3 other assassination.
Later haunted Macbeth in his assembly by his ghost floating on Macbeth’s spot.
Macduff
One of the people that never seemed to trust Macbeth throughout the play of Macbeth.
Later grabbed the suspicion of Macbeth due to the warnings of the witches.
His family was all ordered to be killed by Macbeth.
Later avenged his family by dueling and killing Macbeth in a fight.

Act 1 Scene 1-2 Play started off 3 witches appearing on field. They began chanting that they are on the way to Macbeth. In the next scene the current king of Scotland Duncan
appears talking about the invaders from Ireland due to the area’s rebellion.
The captain mentions his general Macbeth has slain the leader of the rebellion with his bravery.
His Kinsman Ross stepped into the room and tells him that the noble with the title of Thane of Cawdor has betrayed him with Norway and that the Norway army is defeated.
King Duncan ordered that the Cawdor to be killed and that Macbeth to be received for the title immediately and sends Ross out to Macbeth
Act 1 Scene 3 The witches appeared on the top of hill with the click of Thunder. They see Macbeth and Banquo walking by and greeted them. Macbeth and Banquo was horrified at looking at the old witches
and questioned if they are humans. The witches walked ahead and hailed Macbeth of the future
titles that he is about to achieve . They also told that Macbeth is going to be king in the future. The witches than turned to Banquo and told him that he was
less but greater than Macbeth and that he will never be king but his children will be king.
Ross and Angus comes in and tells Macbeth that he has received the title ‘Thane of Cawdor’.
Macbeth surprised at the accuracy of the witches question himself if he should be king one day.
Act 1 Scene 4-5 Malcolm enters to tell Duncan that the Thane of Cawdor
had been killed. Duncan seeing his general Macbeth and Banquo and
named Malcolm to be the next king of Scotland. Macbeth seeing this as a threat to his path of being king
quickly left the scene to talk to his wife. Duncan arranges a feast at Macbeth’s castle. Act 1 Scene 5 acts a scene for Lady Macbeth to declare
her to release all mercy and become cruel. She readers the letter and decides to help Macbeth
become king. Macbeth came in later and she tells him that she’ll help
him to kill Duncan in the party.
Act 1 Scene 6-7 Duncan with his kinsman arrives at Macbeth’s castle and
Lady Macbeth greets them. Duncan is later taken into the castle by Macbeth after
showing her hospitality. In the next scene Macbeth questions himself if he wants to
kill Duncan or not? He concludes himself that he shouldn’t. But Lady Macbeth came in, called him a coward and tells
him that he must do it which made Macbeth believe that he should do it.
They devise a plan to kill Duncan and smear his blood on the guards.
Macbeth surprised at his wife’s plan quickly agreed to do it.
Act 2 Scene 1-2 Banquo enters and questions himself about the dream of
listening to the witches. It drew the attention to Macbeth about Banquo on his way of
killing Duncan. When he's about to kill Duncan he sees a flying dagger in the
sky and can’t seem to grab it. It convinced him to kill Duncan as he believed in the vision. Macbeth returns with the daggers to his room. Lady Macbeth gets angry because he did not leave the daggers
as she requested. Macbeth began crying about his murder of Duncan and how he
cannot be forgiven. Lady Macbeth returns after taking the daggers back and
comforts him telling him that a little water can wash it off.
Act 2 Scene 3-4 A porter comes drunk to greet Macduff and Lennux telling them that
he is drunk. Macbeth comes in and greets them and tells them that Duncan is
asleep. Macduff discovers the king has been killed and the castle becomes
chaotic at once. All of the nobles and servants come rushing to the scene at once. Macbeth in front of them declares in his anger that he has killed the
chamberlains. To escape any more suspicion Lady Macbeth pretended to faint and
Macbeth left with her. Later in court Malcolm and Donalbain quickly fled to save their own
lives. Later the play reflects on Ross talking on with a old noble on the
events. Macduff later enters in to tell them that Macbeth is now king.
Act 3 Scene 1 Banquo enters the scene questioning if Macbeth
used devious ways to become king. Macbeth enters in and tells Banquo that he must
attend his feast even when he has the intention of killing him.
Macbeth then questions Banquo being a thorn in his path of being king.
Banquo leaves and Macbeth talks with 2 other assassins and convinces them to look at Banquo as an enemy.
They are quickly convinced and promised Macbeth that they will do the job of killing Banquo.
Act 3 Scene 2-3 Lady Macbeth expresses her despair of the
events that she has due to the events that she told Macbeth to do.
Macbeth comforts her and tells that he is going to have Banquo killed before the feast.
He tells her that she needs to act kind during the feast.
The assassins are now joined with an another one and they execute their actions.
They managed to kill Banquo but failed to kill Fleance Banquo’s, son.
Act 3 Scene 4 Macbeth and Lady Macbeth welcomes the guests. One of the murders came in and tells Macbeth that
they have did half of their job. Macbeth not caring thanked them for their hard work. To his horror Macbeth later sees Banquo’s ghost on
his seat. He tries to talk to the ghost that is empty to others. Lady Macbeth tries to make excuses for the guests
about Macbeth but had enough and dismissed all of them.
He tells the readers that he will visit the witches again to see his future
Act 3 Scene 5-6 The witches reappear with the goddess of
witches Hecate. Hecate tells them she is dissapointed about them
meddling with Macbeth but she will monitor them. Hecate tells them that Macbeth will come
tomorrow and tells them to prepare charms and visions to give him a false sense of security.
Later Lennux is seen talking with another lord. The death of Banquo is blamed on Fleance but
now the two seem to suspect Macbeth. They call Macbeth a tyrant instead of king.
