Elena Rosenfeld Associate Director of Community EngagementHigh Plains Library DistrictGreeley, Colorado

Elena Rosenfeld was a Children’s Librarian when she arrived in Colorado after working in a library in Chicago’s north-west suburbs. Her career was launched when she failed to understand the logic of organic chemistry so changed her focus to English literature and library science.

While her focus has changed since becoming the Associate Director of Community Engagement for the High Plains Library District in Weld County, CO; she continues to support opportunities to blend the excitement of science with the joy of literature.
