CADDOAN ARTISAN: Jeri Redcorn Caddo artisan Jeri Redcorn views pottery making as a way of bringing back ancient Caddo traditions. Jeri would always see beautiful Caddo pottery in museums until ultimately she decided to learn how to make it herself. Jeri’s techniques were copied from 800 year old methods that her ancestors skillfully used. She decorates and engraves her pottery with the same designs and engravings that the ancient Caddo also used to help preserve their stories, legends and oral traditions.
