Eating is very essential to live

When it comes to food, we have to make sure that we can get proper quantities of nutrition

We can get many nutrients from the raw or natural diet

Natural diet plays an important role in prevention of many diseases

DEFINITION

The diet or food that is natural. Food that we eat naturally i.e. without changing its

original state like raw vegetables and fruits

WHAT IT INCLUDES???

Vegetables – all plants we can eat raw, especially leafy green vegetables, fresh sprouts and shoots, and edible raw roots

Fruits – all fruits we can eat raw, especially low-sugar berries and richly-coloured vegetable and fruits

Seeds and nuts – all edible raw seeds and nuts

Water – including most natural teas and infusions

WHY NATURAL DIET ?

A Natural diet is a diet which comes from all fresh plant foods

These foods have higher nutrient values than the cooked food

Cooking food can take the nutrients and vitamins out of food

One can find the nutrients/vitamins and minerals in raw foods which our body needs most

The more eating raw foods the more healthier you are

Raw vegetables and raw fruit are rich sources of enzymes

When it is heated the enzymes which helps us to digest our food they are killed

When the food is overcooked, it accumulates and it becomes toxins

It can result into diseases like diabetes, heart disease, skin diseases, allergies, high blood pressure, cancer and etc…

If you want cooked food, the best way to cook food is to:

Obstructions are cleared because blood flow increases to the cells.

Eating raw foods is a boost to your metabolism as well

There is a higher volume of water in raw foods such as raw fruits and vegetables

Your body is getting the hydration it needs from foods

That is one of the reason why you don't feel as thirsty after eating more raw food

What may be called the colored vegetables bring good amounts of other essential substances

We all need some pigment in our dietPigment means minerals. Iron is red, manganese

is purple, copper blue, etc.Carotene is yellow, and the yellow vegetablessuch

We forget that a natural life style consisting of a natural diet can give us good health instead of the medicines

For the sick, the natural food is the best medicinePeople generally don't know – why to eat, when to

eat, what to eat, what not to eat, how to eat, how much to eat, etc…

That is why they suffer from diseases and ill health If the food is wrongly eaten, it produces morbid

matter, which is the cause of ill health and disease.

So, Natural Diet is what can keep us in good state of health

As the food is the combination of five elements of which our body is made, therefore, it is the best, the easiest and the quickest means of keeping a person in the perfect health with full energy

well-being

If you eat natural, healthy food you will more than likely be a healthy individual

It Helps us to maintain a sattvic personality

For good health the following items should be avoided: Tobacco Alcoholic drinks Coffee and tea White sugar Bread and biscuit made of refined flour Chocolate and artificial sweets Chilies and hot flavoring items- Spices; Pickles Synthetic soft drinks Fast food; Fried items etc.

“White flour, Salt, White Sugar and Vanaspati Ghee are called "White Poisons".
