I. RATIONALE OF THE SCHOOL- BASED CELEBRATION OF THE CEREBRAL PALSY AWARENESS AND PROTECTION WEEK

By virtue of DepEd Memorandum No. 83, DepEd joins the celebration of the 2015 Cerebral Awareness And Protection Week pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 588, declaring the period from September 16 to 22, 2004 and every year thereafter as Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection (CPAP) week.

The theme this year is Pagpapahalaga sa Abilidad at Dignidad ng Taong May Cerebral Palsy and with a sub- theme Moving Forward to Health, Wellness and Productivity of Persons with Cerebral Palsy.
