Born on the crest of a wave

A Vermont "boomer" by birth (eh yup), Second of 7 Frosties.A Garden State youth whom grew up in the region of Jack Nicholson, Bruce Springsteen and the Crossroads of our American Revolution.No - my part of New Jersey didn't hide Jimmy Hoffa's remains nor provide screen sets for The Sopranos.Cranberry bogs, fishing lakes and poison ivy camping trips.Worked as a fish monger and beach clean-up Crew member.Rarely late for dinner.

Wrestler, Football lineman and above average student. Eagle Scout.

I joined the world's greatest Navy as a Midshipman 4th class on June 30th, 1971.  Crew Captain, Rusty Callow Award winner.

I never fired a shot in anger, but the Russians never came eitherClancy's Red Storm Rising and The Hunt for Red October - I was part of those Cold War experiences. 

A Blue Nose for operations north of the Arctic Circle.

Twice a Citizen, Proud parent, New professionalHad new fun in '81:

Became a Drilling Reservist.

Joined the staff of ARINC Research, then moved to SAIC.

Moved to our home (with a bargain 16.5%  VA home loan guarantee).

Welcomed our daughter into this world (birth coach).

Lifelong learning:

A 2:56 marathoner (Clydesdale Division)

Big Brother (Mark Bourgeois)

Tried computer science classes - but realized I'm a tester - NOT a coder.

Naval War College classes.
