The music magazine genre I’m going to be researching and creating is a ‘Grime’ magazine. The age range for a grime magazine would range from early teens a reason for this is Grime is a urban and a underground genre which most people above my age range might not be aware as this genre is not global as other genres such as ‘Hip-Hop’ there's not a pacific genre for a grime as it will attract both male and female however it is more common with boys as most grime artist are male and males that listen and enjoy reading about grime would want to espier to be like these grime artist they hear on TV.

Grime usually attracts a middle class society as its very urban and people in a higher class society wouldn’t really listen to grime as

they most higher class people wouldn’t understand the ‘slang’ and most grime music contains explicit words which higher class

people might no be used to hearing in a song also because people from a rich society's might have never heard of grime as it isn’t as

global and not heard of.

employmentAs most people that would read a grime magazine are

teenagers, most likely they are going to be un-employed so to get money to buy a grime magazine they’d have to ask there parents or guardian for pocket money to buy a magazine. However some teenage do have part-time jobs to pay for luxury things they need. The price range of a grime magazine isn't as expensive as mother magazine such as a hip hop magazine as it isn't as global as hip hop so therefore the price would have to be low to get people of a lower class society to buy

Ethnic groupWhen grime first started it mainly targeted a black community

as most of the grime artist were from a black background and most black people could relate to the day-to-day things they rap about such as money and struggling in a lower class society however now that grime has gone mainstream it targets a wider racial audience as we see different races rapping on TV today. Therefore my magazine will target a wider racial audience as most races are aware of grime as it is today.
