Tagxedo

Tagxedo is a word cloud creation tool like Wordle, but it allows you to choose a shape for your word cloud.Use Tagxedo to help students understand the full details of a research topic (or article) and the connections it may have to other topics/articles. Students copy and paste the article into Tagxedo to create a tag cloud, study the results and identify the words that appear the most. This information allows students to develop a broader base of understanding about their topic, develop a stronger research question, and find key words to help them research more information about their topic.
