EST Eye-level Tilt up Cloudy, overcast day, camera showing bottom-half of typical school block,

then tilts up to reveal top half.

2 INT. C/U Eye-level Tracking left Nerd walking along corridor carrying three books.

3 INT. C/U Eye-level Tracking left Nerd walking along corridor. We see his pink shirt.

4 INT. C/U Eye-level Tracking left Nerd walking along corridor. We see his face (incl. his glasses) and look of

shyness.

5 INT. Wide High Tripod - static Students walking through an average-looking corridor. We see the nerd at the

back making his way through with bullies behind him. Also, Sophie is in

foreground, left of frame leaning against a protruding wall.

6 INT. Mid Eye-level Dolly –

tracking back

We see nerd walking along, he looks to his left and does a nod and shy smile

as a ‘hello’ to Sophie.

7 INT. POV Eye-level Dolly –

Sophie leans against the wall and looks into camera scornfully as if she is

uninterested.

8 INT. Mid Eye-level Dolly –

Nerd looks away, embarrassed. We see the bullies behind him – and one

pushes nerd to the ground, we just are able to see the perpetrator’s smirking

expression.

9 INT. Bird’s-eye-

High Tripod –

The nerd falls to the floor, exclaiming in pain. His glasses and three books all

scatter to the floor.

10 INT. Wide Low Handheld Nerd still exclaiming. We see the bullies doing a high-five in the background

and Sophie walks up to him, laughing and pointing.

11 INT. POV Eye-level to

Low

Handheld Shot is blurred to resemble the nerd’s lack of vision without his glasses. He

fumbles around on the floor feeling for his glasses. As he puts them on, he

looks up and we see Sophie looking down on him, laughing and pointing.

12 INT. Wide Low Handheld Bullies walk off with Sophie and they appear to still be laughing. We also see

three students in the background laughing, with one pointing at him. The nerd

collects his books and stands up as if to leave.

13 EXT. Est Eye-level Tripod - static A typical village newsagents. The nerd walks up to the newspaper stand from

left of frame to right side.

14 EXT. Jib Eye-level Crane up After the nerd retrieves a newspaper from the stand, the camera cranes up to

reveal a ‘The National Lottery’ sign protruding off the wall of the newsagents.

15 EXT. C/U Eye-level Handheld

We see a ‘Lotto’ cheque being held by someone at either sides, covering

almost the entire frame

16 EXT. Mid Eye-level Handheld

(steady), pan

left

The Lotto official smiles into the camera whilst holding the ticket. He then

passes it to his right to the nerd who receives it. Camera pans left at this

point. The nerd receives a glass of champagne and downs it in one. He then

runs forward in excitement.

17 EXT. C/U Eye-level Tracking left Nerd is walking down the street. We see his nice gold watch.

18 EXT. C/U Eye-level Tracking left Shot of the nerd’s new grey suit.

19 EXT. C/U Eye-level Tracking left We see the nerd’s sunglasses (as oppose to normal glasses).

20 EXT. Mid Eye-level Tracking back,

pan up

At first, we see the nerd’s brown shoes walking down the street, then the

camera pans up to reveal his full suit and stops panning until we reach his

face. He is looking slightly to his right smiling in utter delight, very much

enjoying the supposed attention he is receiving.

21 EXT. Mid Slightly low Handheld Nerd gets out of his car and reaches into his pocket to retrieve his sunglasses.

In doing so, a wad of money falls out, so he bends down to pick it up.

22 EXT. POV Eye-level Handheld Nerd finishes bending down, his hands reach out for the money, and then a

female pair of hands intervene, picking up the money. The camera follows the

hands and stops at the face. It is Sophie, and she smiles into the camera.

23 INT. Wide Eye-level Tracking left Nerd and Sophie sit on chairs/sofa in the hotel together, smiling and generally

happy. After tracking has commenced, we see a silver tray appear in

foreground with glass of champagne on it. The waiter delicately drops an olive

into the glass.

24 EXT. POV Eye-level Handheld Shot starts just above water line, then stops as the drop into the water ends.

25 EXT. Wide Low Handheld Nerd is lying (on his back) on a lilo. We can see the sun gleaming down – an

idyllic scene.

26 EXT. Mid Eye-level Handheld Nerd is gleaming with joy whilst sitting on a speed boat travelling at full

speed. The sun is shining.

27 EXT. Mid High Jib - static We see the nerd driving the boat.

28 EXT. Wide Slightly low Pan right The Isle of White. After the camera pans to the right we again see the nerd

driving the boat. He runs his fingers through his hair – he is truly feeling alive,

and more importantly not shy of himself.

29 EXT. Wide Slightly low Handheld Whilst driving, the nerd is shown to be admiring the view, with a row of boats

in the background.

30 EXT. Wide Slightly low Pan up The nerd looks content whilst driving. The camera then pans up to the sky.

31 EXT. Ext. wide Eye-level Pan down Camera is facing he sky. It then pans down to reveal the nerd and Sophie

walking together (from right frame to left) alongside a lake – an idyllic setting.

They sit down on middle bench and Jake leans in to kiss Sophie.

32 EXT. Wide High Tripod - static The nerd and Sophie kiss.

33 INT. Wide High Tripod - static The school corridor. A number of students are mingling in the background.

Two students appear to be kissing against the protruding wall . Sophie appears

frame-right.

34 INT. Mid Eye-level Whip-pan

right

The two figures continue kissing. Sophie hits the nerd in utter disgust.

35 INT. Wide low Handheld

(steady)

Sophie has hit the nerd. The students in the background point and laugh. As

Katy and Sophie are shouting and arguing at each other against the protruding

wall, the nerd goes up to the left wall in defeat and, almost crying, he double

high-five/punches the wall in agony.

36 EXT. C/U Eye-level Tripod/static The nerd double high-five punches the bench next to the lake. He is almost

crying into it. A flashback reversal of the past events covers the frame in 50%

transparency.

37 EXT. Ext. wide Eye-level Pan down/

zoom out

Camera starts from sky and pans down to reveal the nerd alone, lying on the

bench, camera slowly zooms out showing the lake, and then fades out.
