1910She was born in Macedonia on 26 August.

1928 When she was 18 years she decided to join the Sisters of

Loreto in Irland to learm English and recibe religious formation.

1929She moved to India, she started the novititae and teaching at High School Santa Maria (at Calcuta)

1931She became a nun on May and she chosed the name Teresa (like the saint of missionaires)

1948She started her work with poor people and the she founded the Missionaires of Charity. She used to teached kids to read.

She opened places for lepers, elderlies, blinds and people with aids. She also opened for poorest people and abandoned children.

1979She recibed the Nobel Peace Prize

1997 Mother Teresa died on 5 September 1997 when

she was 87 years old.

The Vatican anounced that Pope Francisco will canonize Mother Teresa the 5 September.
