GENERAL OBJECTIVES
1. Children will be able to go through this SAM in order to
identify frequency adverbs and use simple present tense
structures.
2. Children will also learn to use SAMs by examples to improve
their Reading skills and acquisition of vacabulary
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
At the end of this activity you will be able to…
Acquire vocabulary related to frequency adverbs by identifying them
in context.
Ask your partners about activities they enjoy doing more, and
frequency of those activities.
Answer questions in simple present tense including frequency
adverbs.
Use SAMs to improve your language learning process.

Hi my name is Bryan Shapiro and I live in
San Francisco, I´m 13 years old and I´m in 8th grade, that´s the last grade of middle school. I start high school next year.
Everybody takes English, Social Studies, math, science, geography, music and P.E. we all take Spanish and some people do another language. I´m learning Chinese, because there are a lot of Chinese- speakers in San Francisco. We have Chinese three times a week and it´s really difficult! But I like Spanish and my dad says it´s useful because American companies do a lot of business with Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.

We usually have P.E. and we play team sports
like baseball, basketball, volleyball, or hockey. My
favorite is basketball, and I´m in the school team,
we play other schools once a month, but we have to
train 4 times a week, we sometimes have jazz
band lessons. I like jazz but I am not a very good
musician! I never play any instrument in public
since I am a shy boy.
School starts at 8 o´clock and finishes at three in
the afternoon. I often have about one hour and a
half of homework. I start as soon as I get back
so that I can watch television after dinner.
