Introduction

• Daniel Reardon serves as a co-CEO of the Otto Bremer Trust, a nonprofit grantmaking organization based in Minnesota. Prior to launching his career at Otto Bremer Trust, Daniel Reardon attended the University of Minnesota, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Established in 1851, the University of Minnesota (U of M) is located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, with campuses in Crookston, Duluth, Morris, and Rochester. The university offers a diverse range of majors, including more than 150 undergraduate programs and more than 200 graduate and professional degree programs. It is also host to a competitive athletics program, the Golden Gophers.

• The Minnesota Golden Gophers have collected seven national football championships and 11 titles between the men's and women's ice hockey programs. The university’s swimming, diving, wrestling, and track and field teams in have also captured numerous titles. Further, the sport of cheerleading is said to have been born at a U of M football game in 1898, when a student organized a group of “yell leaders” to boost players’ morale during a losing streak.
