May 9th 2014 is the National Military Spouse Appreciation Day, honoring the men and women that help keeping our Armed Forces strong. They live everyday in the same world as our military personnel and May 9th is the opportunity to recognize the powerful difference spouses make in the lives of service members.

Military spouses are actively looking for jobs in the civilian workforce, but there is still a high unemployment rate within their ranks…
There are 1,388,028 active duty personnel in the US military forces…
… and 690 312 spouses with them !

Bachelor’s Degree Graduate degree
Programs exist for Military Spouse tuition assistance. The MyCAA program sponsored by the Department of Defense grants up to $4000 a year for military spouse tuitions. Certificate Programs are compatible with MyCAA tuition grants and will help military spouses give a boost to their careers.
