What we think based on The BBFC

• Although there is no language, in the violence, and use of weapons suggests a rating of 15.

• However, although there is threat, there is only a small amount, and there being no blood means that there is not a high enough violence for it to be a 15.

• Therefore, bbfc guidelines state that the film would either be a 12A or a 15.

Codes and Theories used in the film

• We use the Enigma Code throughout the film opening. There is always a sense of mystery, particularly as there is not any information about who James is meeting and working for, and also the content of the envelope. This is to gain the audience’s attention.

• We also used realistic characters that the audience could relate to.
