Video camera: I learnt how to use this video camera well so the more I used it made me more comfortable when filming on certain shots with a steadier hand. I liked how clear each shot came out, but what else made it easier to use was that it was part touch screen.

Tripod: This tripod helped me keep a steady hand while filming the scenes especially with the longer scenes. I have learnt that this was very resourceful when we had to film certain shots such as the pan shot creating a cleaner movement.

SD card: This was fairly easy to use as you had to only insert it in the camera and onto your computer when you wanted to upload footage. I have learnt that these can be slightly fragile when not handled properly which would damage your footage.

Imac computer: We had used the imac computers when we were editing our film opening because we had uploaded our footage onto it but also because it already had final cut pro and imovie installed so it was an easier option when editing. I was pretty confident in using this because I was familiar with it beforehand.

Final cut pro: This was used to edit my film opening, the preliminary task, vox pops etc. This was difficult to use in the beginning as I wasn’t very familiar with as I had always used imovie but the more I used it the better I was at editing which also meant I could edit the footage at a faster rate as I knew how to use certain tools.

Pixlr editor: We had used this software for the production company logo it was an alternative to photoshop as it was already installed in our chromebooks making it easier for all the group to access this from home.

Youtube: I used this to upload most of my videos because I had learnt that learnt that some of my videos were too big to upload straight onto my blog as they were too big to upload alone onto blogger. I had uploaded my preliminary task, audience expectations and my final film opening.

Blogger: I used this for my blog to upload all the processes and tasks onto.

Slideshare: I learnt how to upload my own presentations on slideshare so I could embed the the link to get this onto my blog.

Art of the title: This site was used to get screencaps for my timeline of an opening and nine frame analysis.

Google: this was very effective when I had to research anything about certain information but also if I needed any help I could just search my problem on google and get many solutions in return. I learnt how to use google effectively knowing what information is relevant or valid, but also not being too dependant on it.

Mindmeister: I had used mindmeister to create a mindmap for our initial ideas for the film opening. I had learnt that this was a better alternative than actually doing it out on paper because if you make a mistake you can change it easily, but I was also able to upload it much easier and quicker onto my blog.

Purple planet: I didn’t really know much about the non- copyrighted music and I didn’t really know where to get the music for my film opening. This site had all types of sounds/music for different genres and I learnt that the certain music can help bring more dimension to the film opening making it more appealing to the audience.
