Mandatory font

This font is good because its bold and easy to read. This would make it easier to overlay on top of the cover image that I choose to use.

Allan Regular Font

I like this font because its in the style of old 50’s posters and suites the title “Lemonade” because it makes people think of old lemonade brands from the 50’s. It didn’t look as well in capitals though so it may be more difficult to see over the cover image if it is coloured.

Pacifico Font

This font is similar to the previous one I liked, however, this one could be more clear to see because it is bolder and cursive.

IM FELL French Canon Regular font

I chose this font because it was similar to one of the magazine cover’s fonts that I looked at. The background is also pink which could connote to “pink lemonade”. I also think these colours really compliment one another and could be a good house style for my magazine.

Admiral CAT font

I chose this font because it is unusual like my magazine music genre: alternate country and also still easy to read.

Hind light font

The “hind light” font had lots of different styles but my favourite was the 3rd/middle : “Hind Medium”. I think this would be effective in not drawing attention away from the cover image I choose and also, it will be in the simplistic style of the magazines I researched for inspiration.

Monospace Medium

This font is similar to the previous but could look more “southern” than the rest. Although it could maybe be difficult to see as a title, I think the regular and italic first fonts could be used as article titles and headlines for the magazine.
