As we get settled, please grab a pen and paper and do a pre-write to this prompt:
Think about something you do --but you don’t really want to do it?
So why DO you do it? What gets you going? What makes you finish?
WELCOME!
Pair Share/Listening
1. Turn to the person next to you (someone new?)
2. Decide who will talk first.
3. When the facilitators (that’s us) say “Start”, one of you shares with the other about what you wrote.
4. You have a minute to talk uninterrupted until we say, “Switch” so use your time well.
5. Only ONE person in you pair should be talking—the other just actively listens. No dialogue!
6. Share-out--What did you hear?
