AN ECOSYSTEM UNDER THREAT

This ecosystem is threatened by

Clearing for human settlements and infrastructure (such as harbours,), and commercial and industrial areas.

Pollution: fertilizers, pesticides, and other toxic chemical products chemicals carried by river can kill animals living in mangrove forests.
