Marriage in Modern Canada

In Canada, there are many restrictions on marriage. In most provinces, you have to be over 16 to get married. Except in Quebec. In Quebec, it is straight away legal to get married after 16, whereas in other provinces, if you are between 16 and a certain age, (whether it be 17, 18, or even 19) you need the consent of both parents to marry. When you are over the certain age(in most provinces 18, except British Colombia, 19) you can get married without the consent of both parents.
