• We have planned a class trip for Upper KS2 – Y5. • The London Dungeons adventure consists of a 110 minute

journey through 1000 years of London’s murky history.• A full cast of theatrical actors captivate the children and

bring historical stories and the capitals most infamous characters and events to life.

• The trip will aid the children’s learning of London History including Guy Fawkes and the Great Fire of London.

• The cross-curricular links include history, drama and DT.

About Our Trip

• This trip will take place over half a day.• 9:00 - The group leaves from school (IOE)• 9:30 – The group arrives at London Dungeons• Toilet break etc.• 9:40 – 11:30 – London Dungeon Journey• 11:30 Lunch in the Jubilee Gardens • 12:30 - Make our way back to the school• 1:00 - The group arrives back at school

Morning Visit Schedule

• The second half of the day will consist of a more detailed discussion of an aspect of the journey. (i.e. Great Fire of London) and possibly a drama session to consolidate the learning that had taken place.

• A unit of work (see MTP) will be carried out as a follow up from this trip.
