Location Scouting

For the opening shot of my music video I have chosen to film in a

field near my house. The field is slightly overgrown but the tall grass is

not too high. This is a picture that I of the field that I will be filming in

within the next few days:

Further down the

path there was an

opening into another

field which looked

like this so I could

potentially film here

also or instead of the

other field.

The next shot shows Keira Black (Charlotte) looking out of the

window at a field.

I will film this scene in the bedroom of one of my family members

houses’. There house overlooks a field and would be perfect for this

particular shot.

Next I plan to film on a bridge in Durham. Around 3 o’clock is a

good time to film there as the lighting is exactly what I had in mind.

will shoot this scene:

Location Scouting Performance clips of Keira Black (Charlotte) signing will take place

in one of two locations. I will shoot her performing in both locations

and will use whichever works best with the rest of the video when

editing. One location is on the stairs by the river in Durham and

another is in front of this wall in my bedroom. I am currently getting

my room decorated so furniture is easy to move so she can perform

against the blue background.

Location Scouting I plan to film along an old bumpy road this may be on a little road

near by which is not very busy at all. However today I looked for a safer option and I found I could possibly film on this bumpy path or

along by the river. The only issue is that both of these locations are

public footpaths so their may be delays and continuity errors.

I will be filming in Durham city on a night time on a weeknight and I

will be filming in the doorway of a fish and ship shop.

I will be shooting a scene at the Abbey Sport Centre Skate park. The

ramps have graffiti all over them and looks fun. It represents the

exciting side of their relationship but also the negative side as graffiti is often seen as something on the fringe of society.

I will be filming outside of an old public toilet block in the city centre

as it is a dirty and negative looking place and will represent their

relationship ‘going down the toilet’.
