Steal My Girl = One Direction The steal my girl music video looks to be shot in a dessert in the middle of no-where. This is quite common in modern day pop music video’s as so is the music video of blank space by taylor swift - it is filmed in a mansion remote from anything. this could be so that there are no interruptions whilst filming but also because its unexpected. for a song names “steal my girl” you would not expect the boys to be dancing around a dessert with a monkey wearing outrageous clothing. it is creative and does not go with a simple background like in blurred lines by robin thicke. although blurred lines video is intriguing although it is basic, something unexpected like steal my girls can also produce the basis of a successful music video location.
