• After looking into typical settings used in horror films, we knew we wanted to find something in an isolated location. Inspired by our own claustrophobia, we also wanted to find somewhere that was small and crammed, or somewhere where the characters could be trapped.

• Our two ideas were a plot revolving around being trapped in a local church one night or a series of killings in a local war bunker.

• We finally decided to use the bunker because we felt we had more ideas regarding this storyline and it was such a unique place locally.

• It was also easier for both of us to access and get permission to film inside.

• After visiting the bunker, we looked at how safe it was to use.

• The ladder down to the bunker was fairly high at 25ft, so we will prepare our actors for this.

• The ladder was safe to use, but quite damp putting people at the risk of slipping- we could supply gloves for the climb down to prevent this.

• We will have to advise the actors to wear suitable clothing as it is fairly cold, and footwear, again for the climb down.

• Our next steps will be planning the storyline around the bunker in depth and getting permission to film in the bunker from the family who own it.

• We plan to do this through e-mail or by phone call.

• We will have to make sure that the dates we plan to film on suit them.
