INTRODUCTION:

Pakistan Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation is an Assets Management Company. PICIC is a financial institution in Pakistan, one of the first Development finance institutions established with the World Bank Group assistance in 1957. In 2007, PICIC Commercial Bank was bought by Singapore owned NIB Bank. Recently, NIB Bank has sold its thirty percent stake to Sakib Berjees & Consortium Private Limited.

PICIC Stock Fund:• PICIC Stock Fund (PICIC-SF) has been established through a Trust Deed to

be executed between PICIC Asset Management Company Limited and Central Depository Company Pakistan Limited. PICIC-SF is an open ended Collective Investment Scheme which offers and redeems Units on a continuing basis subject to the terms and conditions which are stated in the Offering Document, Rules and the Regulations.

Investment Objective of the company:

The fund aims to provide investors a diversified equity portfolio with a primary objective of maximizing risk adjusted returns over longer investment horizon a combination of capital gains and dividend income.

Research Objective: Our research objective is to analyze the Company’s assets liquidity. In the condition

of bankrupt that how immediate our asset liquidates into cash when we required leaving the organization. In short, in this research we analysis by the method of liquidity analysis that how much time required to convert asset into cash and where we should invest our money. After liquidity analysis we will be able to get accurate answers regarding our investment that which company is more suitable for us in terms of investment. We will always prefer those companies which are less risky and can easily or immediately liquidate.

Interpretation:From above calculation we assume that approx 88% stocks of the PICIC Stock Fund are redeemed within 2 days which is liquid and approx 12% are redeemed after 2 days which is illiquid, so, it means that the PICIC stock Funds are highly liquid funds.
