• Enhanced faculty-student relationships • Collaborative & connected Learning (Kabilan et al.,

2010; Tarantino, McDonough, & Hua, 2013)

• Technical benefits: Up-to-date technology, ease of use, efficient (Hurt, Moss, Bradley, Larson, Lovelace, & Prevost, 2012)

• Increasing expectations to engage “professionally” on social media

• Contributes to a constructivist approach to learning (Brown, 2013)
