Objective

● Support the educational needs of students

● Bring awareness to the concept and learning of STEAM

● Create a learning environment in the library

● Reconnect and share the library resources

● GCPL provided individual STEM programs for children

● Reimagined - program for all ages

● Rediscovered - STEM Academy and STEM camp

Reinvent, Reimagine and Rediscover

● Centerville branch provided the STEAM fair to all the area elementary school

● 90 minute STEAM showcase

● 3-day program from 3-5 pm

● Learn about what makes a city

● Learn about the different jobs involved

● Planning and design

● Build a city

● Have fun!

● What are the different jobs needed to build a city?

● Do you have the necessary infrastructure?

● What buildings do you need to sustain your city?

● Designed for 7-10 year olds

● 2-day program from 2-5 pm

● Teamwork and individual projects

Goal:

Participants will learn concepts associated with

forensic science and investigation to solve a

crime in the library.
