What is diegetic sound?What is non-diegetic sound?

• Diegetic sound is sound that originates from within the scene. The characters CAN hear it.

• Non-diegetic sound is sound that has been added in post production (after filming). The audience can hear but the characters cannot.

After listening to the sequence, answer thesequestions:
