PREMISE• The topic that I’ve chosen to present is- “How Do I Envision The City

Of The Future?”

BRIEFING• The world, in its current state, is in a state of transformation. One

thing that the city of the future will witness for sure is rapid scientific as well as technological advancements. However the same advancements may also pose several challenges.

ADVANCEMENTS IN THE CITYI envisage that the city of future will have:• Well planned and state-of-art infrastructure

• Mostly digitalised payment structure with cash payments rendered redundant

• FLOURISHING E-COMMERCE

• Extensive and effective network of public transport

• Fully automatic and efficacious waste management system

• High-Tech 24*7 Security

CHALLENGES IN THE FUTURE CITY• Cyber Security would be a measure issue. Real time crimes may come to a

near end. But cyber crimes would witness a rise and services of Cyber Police with highly qualified personnel would have to be deployed.

• Rising urban population may exacerbate congestion in the city

• Digitalisation and rising population may lead to high level of superfluous workforce and unemployment
