Helping children of Ak-tilek secondary school to learn English and IT.

Ak-tilek primary school

• At the school where I study, there are students who want to learn English and IT. But there is lack of teachers of these subjects. We need to organize an English club where they will learn it all, share their knowledge and experience.

My goal of GYSD project is to help the students of my school to learn English and to adapt them to new technologies to give them at least theoretical knowledge of IT.

For achieving this goal I will organize an English club and invite students who want to study there. English club will work three times a week. Two times a week will be English lessons and once IT lessons. Later it will be easier for students to learn and use IT because the lion's share of it is on English language.

Plan1.I will organize a group of at least 10 mentor-students to help me. We will work out a timetable, find classrooms and books, and recruit students.2.Secondly we will share the recruited students into groups according to their level of knowledge, age. 3.We will begin the studies on April 7

We will need free classrooms. I will ask the school head to help us.We will need books. I will ask our librarian to help us, also we have English books that PC volunteers have presented us some years ago so it will be enough.We will need some other school equipment like chalk, markers, maps etc. We will ask the school staff and parents to help us financially.

After realizing this project I hope that the students of our club will improve their English and IT knowledge. It will help them to get knew knowledge and experience in other spheres with the help of English and IT. Finally this club must become a tradition so that the best ones among students will become mentors and replace us and club will go on working without stopping.
