The experience that I gained by completing many events/activities throughout my Classroom Technology program has been plentiful.  Not only have I learned, the specialized terms, such as Web 2.0, glog, blog, twitter, wiki, wordle, information literacy, media literacy, etc., I have also learned extensively, what they mean and how to utilize them effectively.

In addition, I have learned how to collaborate online with others peers.  I've learned how to think critically and determine how to modify technological tools to fit my needs and the needs of my first grade students.  I have learned how to create and edit film, photographs, and audio.  I have learned how to enhance my computer skills with a personalized skill development plan using word, excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and email.  Ultimately, I have learned how to be proficient in the current digital-age learning environment.

I have also learned how to use these tools safely, professionally, and ethically. This includes a multicultural understanding and advocacy for the "Digital Divide", as well as the appreciation of our countries future leaders in a global learning and working environment.

Finally, I am able to implement creative and diverse lessons for my students to enhance their learning.  I am able to share my learning with my peers and colleagues.  And I am well prepared to be a Technology Facilitator in my school district.  All of this is possible because of my prior experience in earning my Classroom Technology endorsement.
