It borders Zambia to the north, Zimbabwe in the North East, South Africa in the South East & south and Namibia in the west

Meteorological reports shows a significant decline in rainfall trends due to changing climate.

The annual mean rainfall ranges around 650mm, mainly in the extreme North East parts of Botswana

while there is a significant decline of rainfall in other parts of the countyThe large variability in different parts of Botswana indicates that the

rainfall is unrealible and unevenly distributedThe average expected rainfall are <600mm for the period of 20years.The minimum temperatures (-1.0⁰C) are ever increasing by 0.8⁰C,

annuallyCurrently the maximum temperatures are 42⁰C
