B@TIK
• Stand for Business and Technology Information
Kiosk (* see separated presentation about
B@TIK)
• A service unit whose facilitating SME to
interlink resources on business and technology.
B@TIK Development
• B@TIK is a strategic step to connect SME
community to business and technological
network
Geometrical Approach
• Geometrical shape is used to
describe overall method
comprehensively.
• Triangle shape is chosen to
arrange puzzle-wise description
about logical steps to achieve the
operational stage of B@TIK.
• Triangle side-line has important
meaning in this approach

How to track the ‘puzzle’
(1)
• Each triangle has three side-lines
• Each triangle has a number,
representing the ‘activities title’
(see Diamond Chart), or we can
simply say that triangles represent
activities.
• The steps begin from triangle ‘1’
to triangle ‘6’ accordingly.

How to track the ‘puzzle’
(2)
• Once Activity started, it can be
followed by immediate or direct
adjacent neighbor.
• Direct adjacent is shown by
coincidal sidelines.
• The next activities can start
without waiting the starting
activities being fully completed
(see Gantt Chart).

How to track the ‘puzzle’
(3)
• Activity ‘1’ to ‘5’ are elements to
build the ‘ending-activity’. In this
case ‘ending-activity’ is triangle
‘6’
• It is strictly recommended that we
did not jump skipping any
activities.

Continuous activitiesActivities Step
Gantt Chart Note
• When activity ‘6’ started, it is
mean that activity 1-5 operating
continuously.
• We can always diversify or make
additional sub-project to the
activity 1-5 along the process.

Broad idea
• The strategy consist of two
parts:
– Divergence steps (demonstrate
by first-half of the Diamond ).
– Convergence steps
(demonstrate by second-half of
the Diamond ).
Divergence Steps
• Mostly targeted to the
B@TIK crew.
Convergence Steps
• Integrate all activities results
in first half of Diamond
• Starting to educate SME
community
Track the Path (1)
• Start from ‘1’
• The next activity should be ‘2b’
• After ‘2b’ started you can follow
with ‘2a’ or ‘2c’ or both.
• ‘2a’ and ‘2c’ can only follow
with ‘3b’ and ‘3d’ respectively.

2b
Track the Path (2)
• ‘3c’ can start after ‘3b’ but it’s
recommended to apply ‘3c’ after
‘3b’ and ‘3d’ rather steady.
• It’s strongly recommended to run
level by level. Do not go to next
level when current level has not
completed yet.

Track the Path (3)
• The final stage before launching
B@TIK is ‘5’.
• Evaluate carefuly all previous
process before go to ‘Grand
