The First Americans

There were three main documented tribes known as the Cliff Dwellers, Mound Builders and the Aztecs.

The Tribes

The Cliff Dwellers left behind many great artifacts for scientists and other prehistoric specialists to study and learn about what time may have been like when it was their time. Some of the many clues they left were spear heads, axes and many other weapons.

Cliff Dwellers Artifacts

Many clues were left by the Mound Builders giving hints to what their daily lives were like and just how hard things were way back then in time. Some of the varying artifacts left by the Mound Builders were pots, digging tools, weapons, and jewels.

Mound Builder Artifacts

The Aztec tribe settled in the middle area of Mexico. They settled there because it is a warm climate and there was plenty of land and food to go around.

If I had to choose one group to belong to, I would have chosen the Aztecs. The Aztecs were known as one of the most powerful empires in the world. Plus, their culture is very appealing, their food, music, and clothing.
