Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the position of Spanish Music Show Presenter that I saw advertised on your website.

I have loved music for as long as I can remember so this job would truly be a dream come true. I can’t think of anything better than being able to share my passion with other music lovers on Spanish Star Radio’s Friday night show.

I’m outgoing, enthusiastic and enjoy a wide range of Spanish music from flamenco to reggae-ton. I make sure that I keep up to date on the latest releases. I have a great memory and can improvise with ease. I work well under pressure and can adapt to new situations easily, taking initiative when necessary. I also take pride in being extremely organised.

My work with the student radio station at my school for two years improved my leadership and communication skills and my ability to work in a team environment as it allowed me to interact with different age groups. My main duties were to choose playlists, undertake relevant background research, interview guests and liaise with all departments, ensuring that the running of the station ran smoothly. My period of work experience with Radio City was invaluable as it gave me the opportunity to research and collate information on a range of topics and hands on experience of the music industry in Spain.

I believe I would be a valuable addition to Spanish Star Radio and look forward to hearing from you.

I hope you´re well. So, there´s something I wanted to pick your brain about.

I´m thinking of applying for a position as a Spanish Music Show Presenter in Oxford. You know how much I love music so I think it would be ideal for me. I´ve always dreamt of sharing my passion with other music lovers.

You know I’m outgoing, enthusiastic and am really into Spanish music. Everybody know´s my memory is legendary and I can think on my feet. I know, I know, I´m the most disorganised person ever but what they don´t know won´t hurt them!

Those two years that I worked for the school radio station have made me really confident and skilled when dealing with groups. So, I´m not afraid of being in charge of choosing playlists, interviewing guests and ensuring that the running of the station runs smoothly.

Working for Radio City was hell at the time but I can´t deny that I got hands on experience of the Spanish music industry.
